Written words are my first love

Whether crafting a public policy argument, securing grant funding for community project, or exploring the cultural rifts and bonds of the American West, the written word is the most powerful tool in my work. Below is a portfolio of my creative essays, published advocacy pieces, and exhibited installations.

Photo shows a wooden work surface with a dust outline of a bicycle and a hammer resting on the right side.
A woman in a red dress and headphones sits facing a man in a cowboy hat and black shirt inside a lobby with large windows. The window behind them reflects city buildings and streetlights at dusk.
People standing in line inside a building with colorful arched windows and decorative blue and red trim.
A handwritten list titled 'Your Homework' on a school desk, with a pink eraser and a yellow pencil nearby, listing three tasks: take a seat, leave your mark, and leave the pencil for the next.
People working on construction project in an outdoor courtyard, with mural art on a wall and surrounding city buildings.
